WARNING: This post is over a year old. Some of the information this contains may be outdated.

Hello welcome back!

This is my 2023 reading list of books I would like to read but I am absolutely never going to because computer.

List start now

  1. 2001 A space Odyssey - Arthur C. Clarke (Done)
This is a book I have wanted to read since early last year after seeing the movie. I just love the movie and I am very intrested to read the book behind it.

Finished: This book was great however has some very different elements to the movie. The movie is far more mysterious about HAL whereas the book goes into detail more about why he does what he does. 9.4/10
  2. Dune - Frank Herbert
From what friends and family have told me the movie is great however I feel I should read the book first. Exited to read this but I know it is very political and difficult.
  3. 1984 - George Orwell
A book that has been recomended to me alot.
  4. Animal Farm - George Orwell
    See above
  5. Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy - Douglas Adams
I started reading this last year, never finished it.
  6. Aurora Burning - Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Read the first one and really enjoyed it.
  7. Aurora's End - Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
    See above
  8. The Martian - Andy Weir
Saw the movie, now I read the book.

You might be thinking "8 books! Thats how much I read in 10 minutes!". Something I have realised over the past year is I am not the best reader. I am slow and I can't focus on books for long periods of time. I also barely read anything last year. My goal for this year is to at the very least get back into reading. If I can finish 4 of these books I will be proud of myself. I will try to update this list when I get ideas for new books but no guarentees.

Thanks for reading
- Max
